Perry's To Host Top Dems in Coming Weeks
The Odenton restaurant will be the venue for separate appearances by Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot and Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger.

Perry's Restaurant in Odenton is scheduled to host meetings featuring two top members of the Democratic party in the coming weeks.
The restaurant on Annapolis Road will host the monthly meeting of the 33rd District Democratic Club on Feb. 16, when Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot will be the guest speaker. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with Franchot's remarks set for 7 p.m.
Franchot is a self-proclaimed "fiscal conservative," who made news this week when he spoke out against Gov. Martin O'Malley's proposal to add sales tax to the existing flat tax on gasoline. His name has been widely circulated as a possible candidate for Governor in 2014.
On March 8, Perry's is scheduled to host a fundraising happy hour for Rep. C.A. "Dutch" Ruppersberger, who is seeking re-election for the seat in Maryland's 2nd District. According to an email sent to supporters, those wishing to attend the happy hour should contact Bev Ruppersberger at 410-252-2505 or email bev@dutchforcongress.com.
Suggested contributions to the fundraiser are between $50 and $100. Those wishing to contribute can write to:

I've never been to Perry's, but I've gone to the good Congressman with a wealth of concrete evidence (not he said/she said allegations) that Bank of America has persistently violated at least three statutes of the U.S. Code (12 USC 2605, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act [RESPA], and the Fair Credit Reporting Act). He could have intervened in my behalf (as I begged him--Timothy Geithner--Barack Obama--and the OCC, FTC, and CFPB, among others) to do, when I nearly lost my home after eight full months of unemployment between February 2010 and February 2011--but his office didn't lift a finger to help me--not even to the extent of advising me as to how I should proceed. He wouldn't get my vote now if he paid off my mortgage for me now--and neither will any of the others.
