MARC to Make Minor Schedule Change

The rail service will make slight adjustments to three southbound evening trains, beginning Jan. 23.

The MARC rail service has announced a series of slight schedule changes involving three evening trains departing from Baltimore.

Starting Jan. 23, Train 447 will depart Baltimore's Penn Station at 5:50 p.m., stopping only at BWI Marshall Airport Rail Station, New Carrollton and Union Station in Washington, DC.

The change was made to allow service to and from the airport to be more evenly spaced.

Meanwhile, the 5:25 p.m. departure from Penn Station (formerly Train 447) will be renamed Train 445.

Train 453, which currently leaves Penn Station at 9:05 p.m., will leave Baltimore and all stations to Washington 10 minutes later.
