Highway Officials Warn of Congestion Near Arundel Mills
Officials anticipate "high volume of traffic" along MD 100 and MD 295 due to the opening of the Maryland Live! casino.
The opening of Maryland Live! casino at Arundel Mills will create a "high volume of traffic along MD 100 and MD 295 through this weekend," according to the State Highway Administration (SHA).
Improvements to the MD 295 interchange at Arundel Mills Boulevard are still under construction and will be completed early next week, according to the SHA.
Until then, SHA advises using these routes:
- If you're heading east-west on MD 100 between MD 295 and I-95, consider taking I-695 or MD 32.
- On north-south routes, use Ridge Road or Dorsey Road.
- Along MD 100, stay to the left; casino-bound motorists will exit to the right.

Idiots!!! Don't the highway officials realize people actually live off of Ridge and Severn Roads and most of them were there long before Arundel Mills was even a drawing on paper? Why wans't Kordish required to improve access to his mall and casino complex without abusing his neighbors?

Cordish and politicians do not care about the local residents. They just want their pockets lined with money.
