A local developer has scheduled a public meeting Wednesday regarding plans for home construction along North Patuxent Road.

In a letter to nearby residents, Bay Engineering Inc. officials said they will hold the meeting to present its sketch plans for development on two parcels at 438 North Patuxent Rd.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the West County Area Library in Odenton. The public will have a chance to ask questions and offer comments.

County property records show the two parcels comprise roughly 6 acres of land.

Bay Engineering is working with Elm Street Development, which has previously presented its plans for apartments on the plot, located at the corner of North Patuxent Road and Becknel Avenue. The developer is seeking the endorsement of the Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee, which also could review the plan at its meeting on July 31.
