Casino Moves to 24/7 Operations

It's now possible to gamble at Maryland Live! at any hour of the day.

The Maryland Live! casino will now be open every second of every day.

The casino at Arundel Mills officially began 24/7 gambling operations on Thursday, after receiving approval from voters and the Maryland Lottery.

Maryland Live! opened at 8 a.m. and has no plans to close its doors.

The move to 24/7 gambling comes as the casino is also preparing for the addition of about 150 live table games in January. It plans to hire 1,200 workers, including 800 dealers.

Do you plan to take advantage of the casino being open 24 hours a day?

I found this in a wbal.com article. "Phillips Seafood will be the only restaurant in the casino that will remain open 24 hours a day. By law, the casino can serve alcoholic beverages 24 hours a day."
