BOYS BASKETBALL: Old Mill Stuns Arundel at Buzzer
Old Mill's Gavin Salmond ran the length of the court in five seconds to hand Arundel its first loss of the season.

The Arundel High Wildcats lost their first game of the season Tuesday night after Old Mill's Gavin Salmond drove the length of the court and drained a running layup at the buzzer.
After Salmond tied the game with two free throws to tie the game at 59 with 13 seconds remaining, Arundel's Darien Bryant missed a jumper, allowing Old Mill to get one last possession. Salmond came through by outrunning two defenders and splitting another pair in the lane.
Old Mill fans stormed the court in celebration after the 61-59 win.
Old Mill is now 15-5 and 13-2 in the county.
Arundel is 20-1 and 14-1 in the county. It can still secure the county title with a win Friday in the regular season finale at South River.
The draw for the regional playoffs is scheduled for Sunday.
