Football: Meade Falls 40-0 in State Semifinal

A 10-2 Meade High Mustang team fell 40-0 to the unbeaten Henry A. Wise Pumas in MPSSAA semifinal action in Prince Georges County.

Wise took early advantage of windy conditions and sloppy field conditions and raced out to an early lead and never looked back. Kenneth Scott-Kelow of Wise scored 4 touchdowns (2 rushing, 1 reception and a 65-yard punt return.)

Up next for Wise is Quince Orchard, who defeated second-seeded Westminster, 21-19. The championship game will be played at M&T Stadium Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Congratulations to Meade on a outstanding season!
