MARC and Amtrak are not responsible for lost items, but will make an effort to help you retrieve lost articles.
All lost MARC articles – EXCEPT tickets – will be turned into the Amtrak Lost & Found office or the endpoint station location at the end of each day.
Any MARC tickets that are found will be turned in at Gate B in Union Station. Please check with the MARC representative at the desk. You should also check with the conductor on the train.

Today I have lost my important personal information in a red manila envelope on MARC that arrived at Union Station at 8:05. It was left on the third or fourth row of seat where I sat . I don't know the train number because the train itself was late. The conductor's name is Steve who was on the train this morning. Please give it to the Lost and Found Dept at Union Station.
