Thirteen students in Arundel High School's music program were inducted into the Modern Music Masters (Tri-M) Music Honor Society.

The inductions took place during ceremonies on Dec. 8 at the school's instrumental concert and on Dec. 9  at the choral performance.

The students who earned a place in the Arundel Chapter 1171 for the 2010-2011 school year were seniors Tiffany Cox, Caitlyn Thomason and Layne Nicholson; juniors Jonathan Kilgore, Zinhle Essamuah, Christina Wellner, Immanuel Williams, Laura Wheeles, Austin Olsen and Sarah Brown; sophomores Ashi Parikh, Jeremiah Quijote and Patrick Grandinetti.

Peers and music faculty must recommend students inducted into Tri-M. Inductees must also maintain a 3.0 grade point average and excel in their musical studies.
